Braless Francesca Curran looks unrecognisable from her Orange Is The New Black skinhead character as she sports blonde locks and plunging yellow dress on SAGs red carpet.

She shaved her head to play inmate skinhead Helen Van Maele on cult series, Orange Is The New Black.

And Francesca Curran, 24, looked virtually unrecognisable as she walked the red carpet at the SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

With flowing long blonde locks and those onscreen tattoos removed from her face, Francesca looked incredible as she enjoyed her moment in the spotlight.

Scary: Francesca has become something of a household name since starring in OITNB since season four but she really made her mark a season later

She wore a glamorous sparkling yellow sequin gown which had a plunging neckline and hugged her Hollywood style curves.

Daring to go braless under the bright designer creation, she carried a tiny clutch bag in one hand as she made her mark wearing silver strappy sandals.

Francesca has become something of a household name since starring in OITNB since season four but she really made her mark a season later.

Starring as a white supremacist, Helen plays a particularly scary character who takes no prisoners.
With her pals and co-stars: Taryn Manning, from left, Emma Myles, Kimiko Glenn, Julie Lake, Francesca , and Yael Stone

She told Insider that she spends between one and three hours in make-up every day to have her tattoos put on and she has to shave her head every single day.

Trying to work out how many tattoos her character has, she said: 'I tried to count one day. We kept losing count.

'I have so many individual stars on my face. So, it's like, oh my gosh, maybe 20 to 30 stars on my face, and then I've got two to three, maybe two to three, three to four on each arm.

'Then I've got one on my neck, I've got three on my head.'

But there was nothing scary about Francesca at the SAGs and who knows what her next role will be... she's certainly one to watch.
